my story

Do you ever wish you could go back, for just one second?

It’s tempting to think that this time will last forever, or that maybe in a couple of months you will have a sitter/ walker/ toddler and that perhaps will be a better time, an easier time.

The thing is, will there ever really be a 'right' time? Sometimes waiting for a better day means that you’re missing the one that's unfolding right before your eyes. And these are the days that matter. These are the days, moments and opportunities to capture your real life, the real memories, and the real you.

Here’s why I do what I do

I didn't have many photos taken with my daughter when she was born. I thought I looked awful and that there'd be loads of time to get them done later. The weeks and months passed in a blur and looking back I wish I’d had a photographer round, or just popped out for half an hour to capture that moment in time.

Of course I have lots of smartphone photos of my daughter, taken at all hours, but they were usually not in the best light, and I’m not in many of them. I was surviving on a few hours sleep and just didn't have the time or energy to be capturing great pictures. Sound familiar?

Those days are wonderful, cherished memories, but I realise now that I will never have that time back to capture photos of us both, at that moment in time. This is why I’m so passionate about capturing real family life. Photos of you with your children, as the days roll into years.

Let’s capture these moments now, so they can live not only in your memories but in your hands too.

''We had a great experience during our family outdoor shoot. Victoria is a fantastic photographer and made us feel comfortable within minutes.

The kids laughed and played and she captured all of the best moments.

I am so impressed with the final photographs, I will be booking more shoots with her in the future''
