West Wittering Family Beach session

A couple of hours before the sun set on a beautiful summer evening we headed down to the white sand and warm sea at West Wittering beach.

It provides the perfect back drop for natural family photos, allowing space for your children to run around freely and everyone to feel relaxed.

We started off playing in the sand dunes before heading down to the water for a paddle and finally cosying up in some blankets with snacks for the children.

During these sessions I encourage children to be themselves by making them feel comfortable, playing games, setting little challenges and tasks, and giving them lots of breaks and space – which is often when I capture the best bits!

Parents are usually surprised to see how many shots I manage to get when it can feel like their children didn’t sit still – but that’s the point, I don’t want them sitting in front of the camera smiling at me for an hour. This way I capture the genuine real moments and memories for you to keep forever.
